Though it may have been uncovered by those who poked into the game's files earlier than intended, GungHo has now officially confirmed that Ninjala will be crossing over with the Sonic the Hedgehog series in a new collaboration event. There wasn't much else to the reveal, other than it exists, with the team teasing "just how will this legendary icon appear in the world of Ninjala?", though it will take place sometime during the game's second season, which kicks off on August 26th.

now that's out of the way, the Ninjala devs themselves had to announce this because sega and sonic team have been crying in a corner since this year started waiting for "the perfect time" to report their "monthly" sonic news.

from the "amazing" sonic news we had this year, I think if these had ran as planned probably it would go as well as his last anniversary event.

hyper potions play their best "party-like sound effects colletion" while a person in a sonic costume is bouncing blindly all over the stage.
the stream crashes and after 30 minutes it returns with iizuka going "hey... uhh... so.... ermm... this month.... uhhhhh........ have you guys seen the new sonic energy drink? it's made from real wisps. we made sure to use only renders that don't match with the current concept of sonic at all in it.

It has been noted is much easier to sell items for real cash in multiplayer games as single player games have to either have a way to win without paying or they lose people playing the game quite fast.

Meanwhile when people is facing real people they find winning.more rewarding and so they are willing to waste more money.

for what it's worth, the game at least gifts you enough ingame cash to buy a 10$ season ticket, with which you can then grind for a number of rewards like skins and animations. for most, that will be enough to see if another couple months of that will be worth another 10 bucks.
but yeah, individual skins are really overprived.
