Okay, so I was scrolling along eBAY when I caught sight of an auction for a Xbox 360 Slim. Pretty cheap, for $95. Comes with AV, Power brick, and a 80GB HDD. The only catch was that it didn't have a disc drive, but a major plus was that it was RGH'd, in addition it also had a dual NAND chip installed. So it's running Xell, Freestyle, and a normal Dashboard. My question is, what do I do about the disc drive? Is there a way to determine what disc drive was in there? Any suggestions would be great. The guy selling ti mentioned having the drive keys, so I'm assuming I just have to flash the right drive with them? Nothing else like the Kamikaze hack, or anything? Thanks.

If you get it then open up the Keyvault and look at the OSIG.

Get a matching drive and grab the stock firmware for it ;D
    Then spoof keys and test.

If all goes right then it should work.

I see, great. Do you know if the Xecuter Fusion got released yet? I'd love to be able to pair disc drive without X360USBPro, and stuffs.

    Fusion is at 1.0.9 iirc.

Their still ironing out the bugs but it seems that it's picking up a lot of movement.

Wow, looks sweet. So when I get the 360 I just install it over the FreeStyle Dash NAND? If I'm on a hacked NAND, will it be okay to pair? And then work with the retail one? Thanks for all the help BTW.

If the keyvault isn't changed (from the clean retail NAND) then you can grab the stock firmware for the drive from the usual places and spoof the firmware to it.

Then it should work without a hassle.

Btw I have no idea if you can get a complete drive assembly with replacement PCB.
Otherwise I hope that you won't need a drive with a winbond chipset ;p
