Hacking ni no kuni troubles

allright so i was playing this fine until i had the horrible idea of switching language,now the game won't start anymore giving me an error on startup and telling me to delete the game data,i imagine what language the game use is stored in a file and deleting that would fix the problem but i have no idea where the file in question is... help?

It sounds like your save got corrupted. This probably has nothing to do with changing languages, my guess is that you simply turned off the console or quit the game while it was saving. PS3 saves are stored as single binary files, you can't easily go in and modify them. If you don't have a backup of your save, you are probably SOL (which super sucks since Ni No Kuni is awesome).
