I agree completely, what pisses me off even more is that you can't repair your car while you're at a race day.

I think it is fine. I like how it has various modes like drift and drag.

though are you meant to mainly use handbrake to drift? lol i don't know if i'm doing it properly, but i can win stuff easily [IMG]

You're supposed to just turn your car left/right. I never use handbrake. Use the first car with some modified parts, because you need as low acceleration as possible.

Game is quite enjoyable during download play. Had three buddies and myself playing it for a week or so. Pretty much everything is playable except that everyone uses the car the host uses. That includes custom cars.

Personally, I don't like the hydraulic "races" in the SP.

I like the game myself, I hated the handling of the cars to start with even all the best stuff, but now the challenge of taking the corners just right. The different rules for each type of race are good, can't say I like drifting and hate is a watered down description of what I feel about Hydrolics, but that could be just because I don't really like rythem games that much (Except Elite Beat Agents) as I have no rythem. I didn't want to like the game I don't like the whole culture it's based on and because of that I've never played one before but I thought I'd give this one a go.

Ofcourse it's no Mario Kart, king of the racing games.

Damn rotating hydraulics. Now I'm stuck in the career mode for the first time since I don't know how to drift! [IMG]

Fishtail your car back and forth. And don't oversteer. And don't use handbrake. And use NOS when you slow down.

I'm stuck and I need 1 more drag race to unlock the next boss. Frikkin' CPU hackers, 0.0000 reaction time. [IMG]

PS2 is easier, and the wheelie competitions are fun. I wheelied the whole quarter mile!

heres a tip for dragging, all you need to do is smash the opponent's tail, then you shuold have a beeze to finish.

I think drag race is the easiest mode in this game.
Make sure you have good car (skyline for me- good and cheap)

Ze best drag car is teh Corvette with all best powerups. Win every time with that much acceleration. Oh, BTW, I finished 100%, so if anybody have some troubles, ask me.
