    Hell-o tempers and temperettes!
When making amiibo cards or dolls, it would be awesome to be able to use the nfc reader from the gamepad, instead of using a phone..
    So, i was wondering:
-is it techniquely possible or would i waste my time?
-did anyone already retreived the code for the nfc reader in the wiiU's gamepad?
    Thanks.

We have kernel level code execution so yes, it would be possible to write a homebrew to write an Amiibo to a tag. The problem is, the NFC libraries (both the low level one and the NTAG implementation) are not documented right now, so you'd have to reverse engineer it yourself and then write your own program.

You can with a tool in the SDK, so go signup as a developer for Nintendo and download the SDK.

Or you can read the documentation on the NFP library and write your own app.

    Thanks for the replies,
..but the tool in the sdk still requires to be connected through the dev kit, no?

Tomorrow i will read more about the nfc library, might be interresting :) but i doubt i will have the time to learn too much about it.. other projects in life.. wish i could buy time :P
