Can't Reproduce Newly added Rar file now has a trojan in it?

I just recently uploaded a new Homebrew Channel theme to my ongoing topic, and I went to download my file from FileTrip to make sure I put the right one up there. But Chrome and Windows Defender detected a Trojan in the file. Its just zipped images, a couple XMLs (for settings), and a TTF (for custom font). But its flagging Defender with something I didn't even recognize.

Any ideas? Do I have a local infection causing this, or are other people seeing it in my files too? When I scan the local file, it appears fine. Its just the version I tried to download from FileTrip.

Very strange.just verified the file. It appears fine on my phone. Also, VirusTotal finds nothing. So that's most likely something in your computer, from what I could see.

Huh. Very strange indeed. I'll try it on my computer at home and see if I get the same results. Currently on the work compy.

Just had a look at it with the AV I had installed on my computer and with Virustotal and neither gives any detections so seeing as this only appears to show up on your end I suspect your work computer could be compromised.

I scanned it with malwarebytes, MS security essentials, and uploaded it to VirusTotal also, no signs of anything bad.

Yeah, it downloaded just fine on my computer at home. I'm not finding anything with MalwareBytes, Defender, or anything else we use here in the office. Its just weird. Thanks for the testing though everyone!

Funny, never had an issue with that, Norton 360 on the other hand...
