Alt text: "You may point out that this very retreat into ironic detachment while still clearly participating in the thing in question is the very definition of contemporary hipsterdom. But on the other hand, wait, you're in an empty room. Who are you talking to?" I'm always happy to see XKCD. [/offtopic]

@SimplyFedorable This thread is like many before, but is more polite and to the point. However, there are some errors I'd like to point out in grammar and spelling (just want to help polish the thread in hopes it does get a sticky).
In step 4: "This is a flawed argument in many, many, reasons" isn't grammatically correct; either replacing "in" with "for" or "reasons" with "ways" along with removing the second comma would fix it.
In step 5: Every case of "pc" is incorrect; replacing every case of it with "game" (except in the title where it should just be removed) would work. Also, to fix the grammar of the first sentence you can omit "is". The last sentence of step 5 is also incorrect; "Without the source code, a pc port near impossible to make it work for 3ds and extremely impractical." could be fixed a multitude of ways, but I'd opt for "Without the source code it's nearly impossible to make a port for 3ds and extremely impractical."
In step 8: Just remove "be" form the last sentence.
In step 10: In the title; "you're" not "your".
In step 11: I'm just gonna try rewriting this one. "If you are developing, be truthful (and reasonable) about your project's plans and progress. The people on gbatemp don't care if your project is amazing, the 3ds homebrew scene doesn't have a whole lot of apps/games and anything is a great contribution. If you lie about your development, you will just piss people off, because your project didn't meet the expectations you set up. If you aren't a dev, and you lie about being one to get a response from gbatempers, you can get out."
Lastly, step 12: Let's make everyone
's day better
(P.S. sorry if any of that sounded harsh or blunt, just want one of these community guidelines to finally be stickied, and improving it's grammar/spelling will hopefully increase the chances of it actually being stickied. good luck!)
