So... whats your New Year's resolution?

    Mine is 1024x768...

Just joking. For my New Year's resolution I decided to lose some weight.

I resolve to get my GED (HS diploma equiv.) and start in on a two year degree for something that might make some decent money. I resolve to have more resolve! I resolve to be less meek and not let people walk all over me.

I don't do the "new year resolutions" thing, because I know I can't keep them.
And a few years back, my new year resolution was to never do promises I can't keep! So.. at least I'm keeping this one resolution!

In a school assembly years ago, the teacher asked some kids what their resolution is. Some say, "I'll be nicer" or "I'll do more in the house". This kid says, "to eat more chocolate". Anyways, my resolution for this year is probably to try and learn a new language. Hey, it's reasonable and excercising is something I can't keep in my resolution.

    I got a better idea.

For my New Year's resolution, I'm giving up New Year's resolutions.

I made my resolution last Thanksgiving after a bit of an incident with a friend.
I basically fucked up and realized that I need to change. The job I've had has already changed me for the better and I told myself I need to keep changing to fix my mistakes and the things I don't like about myself. Even though I can't make the change instantly, I'm going to work at it myself and quit waiting for other crap to do it for me.
In short, I'm going to be more confident.

Yea, it's corny and might not make sense... but it's the first time I've been serious about something like this.

Oh, and I'm going to start taking some college courses online, something I've been putting off for a long time.

My new year resolution, to have a better year than 2006 [IMG]

Not that 2006 was terribly bad, but it's all uphill from here!

There are things that I plan on doing this year:

    1) Learn Japanese
    2) Visit Japan
    3) Loose weight (where have I read that before)
    4) Learn to skateboard (far too much time spent on Tony Hawks)
    5) Be a more productive member of GBAtemp (not sure I can do that [IMG])

And other general things to make my life better.

Mine is to try and solve some of the problems I have in my life, to try and get more out of it even if it is kinda screwed. Also I want to learn to skip (rope skipping, lol) to get fitter, and pass my maths.

I could put another ton of stuff I'd like to do, like organize my time better and stuff like that, but I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible, since I am kinda lazy and if I think of something that might be too much work and it wont pay off that well then... it'll probably never get done.
