Anybody makin some changes this year?

I've resolved to be more active and finally start a work out routine, as now that I am 20 I do not want my metabolism to die out any time soon >_>

I am also cutting fast good from my life. Cold turkey. This is sort of for Health reasons, but mostly so I can save some freaking money.

And lastly, I'll be changing some spending habits in general. Ive spent a lot of money in 2014 so 2015 is the year of hoarding it all again :P

What are y'all's resolutions for the new year???

Hmmm, mine were probably to be less lazy and to cut off of the Internet for 1 day per week (I'm kinda a Youtube and Reddit maniac >.<)
Also, another would be to start actually programming again, since LoL and Hearthstone have been taking up too much time.
Another would be to start drawing practices again this year, which I kinda stopped in 2014.
I've also found a buddy to play table tennis with in October, which should lead to more exercise this year...
I can't think of anything else...

7 posts in an nobody did the old classic?

1050x1680, 1920x1080 and 1400x1050

Anyway I am practically perfect, or at least I have succeeded and have nothing to do in life that will top what I have already done, and thus I do not need to change anything, though I might get more lazy. However being more lazy will probably require some effort.

I need to take my education more seriously, and start thinking about what I need to do for the future, and what I want to do. I'm halfway through my junior year of high school, and I still have no idea what it is that I want a minor or a major in for college, or even what I want to do for a job. It seems that everyone, including all of my friends, have already have everything planned out, started working on their resumes, got part time jobs and such, and yet I'm still sitting here on my ass wondering what the hell I'm going to do. I haven't really ever though about it for the past 4 years or so, and now that everything has gone by so fast, the pressure of everything that I still need to do has built up far more than this lazy 16-nearing-17 kid has ever imagined.

I wouldn't sweat not having life planned out by the time your first pube sprouts, such plans rarely amount to much and if they do come to pass then they usually find people ending up miserable until about 40 when they realise they really did not want to be [insert professional] and would rather do a trade (or vice versa). Hopefully by such time they have not also inflicted the mindset upon their kids (or as you will probably see in about 2 years for the "could have turned pro" sports types).

Don't get me wrong it helps to have a rough idea between science, applied tech, something legal field based, something medical, something practical and something entirely impractical and unlikely to see you easily land a trade where you are at/wish to find yourself (underwater welding being more useful where they have lots of water for instance).

On the other hand, and as previously covered in this very topic, I am a lazy bastard that is content to cruise through life without any real aspirations. I am however a happy lazy bastard.

New Year's Resolutions are for chumps. I'm a professional. I make new goals and drop them all day, every day.

Resolve to match my hustle in the resolutions game and we'll see.

Ready yourself, bro.

For where to start with fitness, I'd recommend /fit/'s sticky. /fit/ is good, too, but if you want to spend slightly less time mirin' other dudes (and want moderation), r/fitness is a pretty helpful community. There's plenty of routines out there, from weight training (Starting Strength, StrongLifts 5X5) to running (I've heard good things about Couch to 5k). Git gud, son.

As for fast food, if you're ever in a bind for something to eat, you can always just get a few plain grilled chicken patties (at least half the price of the full sandwiches), a fruit/vegetable side (like apple slices or something along those lines) and a drink (preferably water) at any McDonald's or Burger King. The price is pretty low and the meal is pretty healthy. If you're going full-on with dropping fast food, though, you're a stronger man than I; I don't know how I'd live without my Chipotle.

Fortunately I am in good hands, my mother will be the one whipping me into shape.
She was a body builder for a number of years before she wound up with me. She's been pressuring me to get back into shape for a long time, and now the time has come.

She also recently got her personal trainers license and she has told me I will be her first test subject. She said that, and that she was going to bust my ass >_>

I'll have to post her body building picture when I get a hold of it
