Nintendo showed a new device at the media summit!

It contains a new add-on for the wii remote and nunchuck. The remote can be attached to the top of the gun, and the nunchuck in the bottom part. This new toy could be the perfect solution for RE: Umbrella chronicles or the recently announced Ghost Squad!

It will only cost 19.99 euros!

It does indeed look great, but I wonder if it's actually usable with so few buttons available...

That does indeed look pretty damned awesome.

Just don't go waving it around too much, UK wii-gunners. Or the police will kill you.

So does the trigger button actually do anything? If it's meant to be a gun but you have to 'fire' with the nunchuck button, that would be poo.

The trigger most likely just pulls the 'trigger' button under the remote. In one of the pictures, you can see the cut-out area that the button must fit in.

The gun looks too ordinary to me and I don't think it will make the game any better.

Holy cow that's awesome! Miles better than the old zapper!

I would like to see a side button and/or D-Pad on the back mind you - like the g-con 2 - just for easy weapon changing, ducking etc... yes there is the nunchuck but that has wires and what if you want to play with two guns?! [IMG]

Lots of arcade shooters would port really well over to the Wii such as House of the Dead 4 (shaking gun to reload) and Police 911 / Police 24/7 (duck and hide by physically moving your body).

    O Rly?

    Wiimote - $40 USD
Nunchuck - $20 USD (may or may not be necessary)

Gun Attachment - Guessing $20-$30 USD

So if you only have a Wii and wanna go 2-gunning it or 2-player, thats another 40 + 20 or 30 on top of the attachment for the first wiimote...

The UK has armed police officers. Just not every police officer carries a gun.

Looks like a good attachment by the way.

Looking very nice but as Darkforce mentioned, some buttons on the side and dpad on top of the handle would be nice. I loves the GunCon 2 though I guess.
