I'm not a fan of Facebook, I downright hate it, but I can see this kind of thing being very helpful. If they were to incorperate things for specific areas of IGN, Gamespot, and other gaming websites, I'd get it fast.

BTW - snakepliskin12 - Your post materials are for the most part very good content wise, but they are nearly unreadable because of your INSANELY terrible grammar. I noticed that your posts relaly tend to not have a lot of people replying, even though they generally are good topics. Try to fix your nearly unreadable grammar.... it will seriously probably help more people into actually commenting on your threads. I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just wanting more people to comment on your threads.

I always used a chat client that unified all my messaging platforms, but having one built into a web browser would be even better

Thanks for the heads up

Because you need those sites to view whore you more?

Honestly, you want dedicated areas for IGN, Gamespot, and other gaming websites? It's called a RSS.

Also if you want to chat with someone, use Skype or something. I can't remember the last time I used Facebook chat. Between text messaging, Skype, and just talking to people in real life, Facebook chat is really useless. I think I use Facebook more so nowadays for seeing who I can troll or finding juicy gossip on my lame fellow students.

V.V This isn't EoF, seriously, keep that stuff to EoF.
As for the sites I listed, I just flew some off the top of my head. Maybe they can add something similar for well, any website.

Privacy concerns keep me away from this. Not sure I would want to trust a browser with my sign-in info from some unknown company.

And wouldn't opening the tab in a new window accomplish the same thing? Or downloading a better dedicated app for some of the services like Twitter (MetroTwit)?

TBH, I'm surprised you passed it. But yea, I really did not mean any offense. From what I've seen, I really like your topics :)

His grammar's fine, it's the total lack of punctuation that throws off the pace of the sentences, but it's still readable with a tiny bit of effort.

As for chatting stuff, I use pidgin so I can keep all the chats in a single window that's not tied to my web browser (though I still keep skype open (but minimized to the tray) for pidgin to use skype's chat... then again I use a lot of messengers.

This is sound advice, snakepliskin. I would take it into consideration if I were you. Seriously, people are reporting your thread because they think you're a spambot from China.

I've been looking for a new browser, thanks man. I'm kind of hoping you can set the sidebar buttons to RSS feeds, because I haven't actually found a feed reader that doesn't look like a pain in the ass yet and that'd be pretty sweet.

EDIT: Wow, that was not at all what I expected. I like sharing, but not that much. I don't want to stay logged into facebook all the time and I don't want to spam people with my shit. I'll be sticking with firefox, I guess. Thanks anyway.

That sounds nice enough, I guess, but those features aren't enough to win me over. I'm fine with Chrome for right now.

I've been using RockMelt for quite some time (since the early beta) and I can say that the RSS integration is quite nice. I don't use the Facebook part of it that much though.

Any fans of Chrome should also note that Rockmelt is based on Chromium, the open source browser (by Google) from which Chrome is also built.
