Bummer. I was plan on getting smashhax working so I could downgrade too. I couldn't even get the smashhaxhelper working anyways

Sorry if this is a triple post (EDIT: it's not!), but I hear that the smashhaxhelper is more difficult to get working than the traditional method (which, for a long time, I used as my primary entry point).

The current methods we have now are still effective, itll be when those get shit canned that i see any other method cartridge wise. I would say Browser and Menuhax are on their way as of right now both Powersaves and OOT are the cheapest alternative and should both be located at your local Gamestop seeing that your in the US @Mariosl10. If your gamestop doesn't have the powersaves, amazon has it for $15.

I dont know what smealum's working on. Never said i did. I know what someone else is working on, im quite sure it hasnt been patched on 10.7, and its a lot cheaper than OOT

Recently I idiotically bricked my 3ds. I had to update to 10.7. Now there's no way to get on homebrew with out having ninjahax or oothax. Does anyone know if its possible that there may be a possible new way to get on homebrew. If there might never be a new way should just update?

Smashbroshax is notorious for not being compatible with sysUpdater (any build), and Cubic Ninja (NinjHax) is way too expensive, so I'd say:

1.) Run smashbroshax and install OOT3DHax to an OOT 3D cartridge.
2.) Run OOT3DHax and downgrade.

EDIT: In case you don't have it, I'm attaching a build of sysUpdater for 10.7.

Thanks for the help! But aperently one of my friends got cubic ninja as a joke gift for Christmas 2013! I'll ask him if I could borrow it. But do you know any ways I should try to prevent a brick for my second try at a downgrade

There is a new FBI version with 10.7 support though. Theoretically it could be used to downgrade just the browser then browserhax would work again.

Or, if you cannot wait, just buy OOT from Gamestop for 20 bux, and use it with Smash Hax. After you're done with OOT, just return it to Gamestop, or keep it. It's a neat game to have a physical copy of anyway, it'll probably be worth a shit ton in 5 to 10 years.

You can also get a Powersave at GameStop, right? (I saw it at mine) Then all you'd need is a save for your version. Sounds easy enough.

just follow Plaitectes guide to a T and take a headache break once in a while. Don't FTP any files either or take your SD out without clicking on safe removal

I think this time, things will be different. BrowserHax and MenuHax, I believe, are going to be gone for far longer than everyone seems to think.

Browserhax may be back sooner than you think. yellows8 has been researching how to crash webkit (which has a ton of vulnerabilities, mind you) in a useful way.
