New trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom shows off gameplay elements

A new trailer for Nintendo's latest entry in the Zelda series gives us another look at this specific version of Hyrule. More details regarding the game's echo system are shown, along with some of the dungeons and bosses you can expect to see. There are 2D segments as well, similar to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. According to the trailer, you can transform into a mode that lets you use a sword to attack enemies. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be out on September 26, for the Nintendo Switch.

Wow, I have to say, I am looking forward to this even more than I did ToTK. I don't know how they managed to keep it completely under wraps until they showed it in the Nintendo Direct announcement. I guess Nintendo is able to really keep leaks contained. I would imagine things have gotten much tighter ever since ToTK got out so early.

Yeah, it seems like unless other members say otherwise.

I see these kind of games as gimmickie, same as final fantasy games that are with bubble heads and babiesh characters etc. It's like introduction to the franchise for under 7 year olds etc. Difficulty is at that level also, one time play etc. It's just pretty and colourish.

The problem in general with almost all Nintendo games is not understanding that there are players who grew up with Nintendo games and aren't children any more. Still want to play Nintendo games BUT at their age difficulty level, that's something that Nintendo never acknowledged and tackled. Todays games need to have difficulty level selection, one doesn't fit all. I'm not gonna play Mario and the gang just for the sake of childhood memories.

I disagree. I think most Nintendo games have a perfect difficulty.

Most. With exceptions like these, which are fine.

These are not for us, but there will be others.

Please consider going back to the traditional formula after this, Nintendo, I'm begging you. This series has been wholly reliant on remasters and experiments for the last decade, and that's getting incredibly stale now.

that gameplay looks likes its not for me.
I think link and zelda game were they co-starred together would be neat like prince of persia 2008.
Just seeing them constantly interact would really new and neat.
They already did that though, it's called Phantom Hourglass Spirit Tracks.

Am I remembering Phantom Hourglass wrong or are you thinking of Spirit Tracks? I could’ve sworn PH starts with Zelda getting taken lol
