So, brand new to the Xbox 360 scene. Ideally, I would like to make back copies of my discs. What be the simplest, most straight forward way to accomplish this. Thank you!

A 0800 drive or a x360usb pro v2. I think those are the only 2 ways. The 2nd is a USB device used to connect your Xbox drive to a PC/laptop and the v2 means you can rip games with it. Method one is the method of flashing an Xbox drive with the 0800 firmware to rip the games.

    Is your drive flashed already?

I have not done anything yet. I was hoping that there was a way of copying the CD's using a PC only with some sort of program. Once again thanks.

0800 drive requires a connectivity kit if you want to rip discs (CK3i)
Or a Kreon drive but I think the Kreon drives don't work with XGD3 games.
