You can’t use old save with new update for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Same situation with game for Wii U a decade ago.
Nice, with all spirits up to date? would you share it?
For how to use it it's easy, on one side you use JKSV to load the user save in your profile, and on another side you load the bcat save to the bcat saves (that's were appears the spirits updated, etc.)
Does anyone have a Monster Hunter Stories 2 save with all DLC quests unlocked? E.g. Silver Rathalos. This game has time-gated updates and I strongly suspect the time-gated unlock flags for the DLC is set in the save data. It pertains to the issue I raised in this thread:

If someone can provide me such a save, I can do some further tests and verify if my guess is on the money. Doesn't need to be a full 100%, by the way, but it would help a lot if the main story is beaten because that's when most DLC quests start showing up.

I wish that I didn't delete it at first place, but I deleted it out of panic after got in game ban.
Do not go online if you want to use someone's save for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Splatoon (all series) and Pokemon games (all main series).
Oh wow, I'm not able to find a perfect PC save that I would able to share in here and indie games are well known to make PC save compatible with Switch, sorry.

Hello! I have mine with all the characters unlocked. Most of the vehicles remain to be unlocked. Unfortunately a PC save doesn't work for this game on the Switch, so I played until I unlocked them all. The game is in version 1.0.8+10 dlcs. The save is in 5 parts of Winrar, as it does not allow posting large files here.

The game is 92.9% complete and has more than 122,000,000,000 studs. Nothing was achieved with cheats, but rather by playing. The save is originally mine.

Not so sure if this is the right place to ask for this, but does someone have a Monster Hunter Stories 2 save with all 'DLC' unlocked? And by that I mean if they have a save together with the BCAT files for the game.
Note that although it's called DLC, it's just free content that comes with the updates and is also refered to as Title Updates. I got the updates installed, but part of the content (read: a good portion of the extra subquests) doesn't unlock because most updates have content that's time-gated to be released one week after the original release date. I believe this is done through BCAT. Reason I'm adding this is just in case someone reads DLC, gets triggered and immediately starts jumping to the wrong conclusions just because the Monster Hunter series misuses the term DLC.

@K3Nv2, I think the RP5 has had 8GBs for a while? I know mine has 8GBs not sure it's needed for emulation though? Probably 4GBs is enough for 99% of what it's fast enough to emulate? I could be wrong if it can do like GC and PS2 stuff maybe more is needed? Probably stream the ROMs like the consoles did off the drives.

I believe what they do is OS and translation layer (emulator) and the emulator has its RAM like 36MBs for PS2 so like 3 times that maybe as things are shuffled around, a frame buffer and. Load the data from the ROM file into that systems RAM. I think I read that even 2GBs is enough if your just using a Pi for emulation.

Like a super mini system, I use Batocera as an OS and it's pretty easy to set up, has a ton of UI skins you can make it look almost anyway you want. Still would kill for a WiiFlow like skin (some are close)

I did kind of overshoot on storage, a 2TB nvme drive and I think 1TB would have been plenty.
