Hi,

I have just got my jig and looking to purchase a license for SX OS, is there anything i should do before going for it?

Is there anything i can save which would let me downgrade in future in case i wanted to?

Also any tutorials to show how to use the jig and install it?

you just need the Jig, a License Code and a USB C Cable to send the Payload.

You can use SX OS with the Firmware 4.1.0 too, but you can't play Games that require 5.x.x .
When you update to newer Firmware some "virtual" Fuses got burnt, so it is impossible to directly downgrade (yet?)
(There are some Tutorials here for downgrading, but as I understood it, it's not a real downgrade, which could help you future. But maybe I'm wrong about that, too, and you should read the tutorials.)
