Perhaps you misread? I know people have done it with anti-error 002 through softmodded methods of Neogamma, but they did it using a USB Loader, not a DVD-R burnt copy.kaizer3000 said:im stumped...
i read somewhere theres people able to play this game (patched iso burnt onto dvd) with only softmodded wii and using neogamma r6.....
upon obtaining the patched iso, i burnt the game, set the settings to Anti 002 error ON, and all i get is flashing green screen and kicked back to main menu (the one with many wii channels)
...
then i go search again for another patched rom, got it, burnt it, and STILL getting da same result....wth.... =.=
and i've been able to play ALL the backup games i owned so far without any problems...this is the 1st game that gave me this problem...
pls advice me....i kept on hearing how amazing n awesome this game is...and im being left out..
=.=
No, that won't work either. I have personally tried this method. Patching the ISO is only useful for the ISO loader it would seem.bjorno said:So no one got it to work via dvd-r yet? What if we patch the dol, and burn it into dvd -r? (i currently dont got a wii to test, my wii as at ninty)![]()
is it officially out yet?Darkmystery said:Where is USB Loader GX in the list? It has the patch too now you know..
Again, yes.Gamemaster1379 said:I think the problem is the people with softmods, they are having the troubles running from DVD. Installing a modchip will get the game running, but its alot of effort just to play 1 game.bjorno said:So no one got it to work via dvd-r yet? What if we patch the dol, and burn it into dvd -r? My ten-year-old daughter was super-keen to play NSMB, so I decided to try out USB. I got my Sandisk Cruzer Mucro 8GB (USB Stick), & formatted it to WBFS with WBFS Manager 3.0. This app also allows you to transfer the ISOs via an explorer-like interface - nice! =]
I then installed USB Loader GX v1 via WAD Manager, but subsequently discovered that NeoGamma r8beta was the one for me!
WORKS PERFECTLY - there's no crash-out at world 1-2 or 1-3 or after 3.6 minutes, etc., etc. =]
Thank you the uploader & thank you WiiPower et al who make these fine tools for us TINU ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE!
I hope my little yarn there will help anyone still struggling. kaizer3000, you did everything correctly - but that way will NEVER work. USB is the only route to take if you don't want to wait some while for a disk-based solution.
If you want to play it sooner, you don't need much memory. IIRC, it's only about 350 MB. If you've got a spare SD or USB flash drive of 1 GB, even 512 MB that you can format to WBFS, you could put NSMBWii on there.Omega_2 said:Well, I suppose now would be a good time to start looking for some usb drives, then :\
The wiki on that is a tad cryptic to say the least. :\

..not to derail this topic, but would you happen to mean this style Sandisk Cruzer, right? http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDCZ6-4096-A...h/dp/B000NWVAFO
He's right, you know.Omega_2 said:..not to derail this topic, but would you happen to mean this style Sandisk Cruzer, right? http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDCZ6-4096-A...h/dp/B000NWVAFO Exactly that - except mine is the 8GB. It came with two partitions; (i) the System & (ii) the Store. I thought I'd have to use a partition manager to merge the two, but WBFS Manager 3.0 breezed it in a couple of clicks - converting the filesystem to Wii-friendly & copying the ISO over to the stick.
An added bonus is that although the original rip was c.400MB, which expands up to 4.7GB as the ISO, WBFS auto-packs the data as it transfers it over (I know! Cool, huh?) - I ended up with only c.300MB used! Room for many more, methinks. =]![]()

I don't own any HD TVs, though I would take into assumption that they wouldn't. Check the settings that you're using. I'll take it that it's Neogamma? Check region settings. Perhaps your TV is switching to PAL, but it isn't quite cooperating? You could try forcing NTSC. Just a wild stab, I'm sure I'm way off, but it's worth the suggestion.wiibob said:I have a HD TV, None widescreen - Anyone else get black around the borders around the top and bottom like its trying to be wide screen? Is it meant to be this way? thanks for your time.
