Gaming New Super Mario Bros. Wii Issue

Hey guys, I'm having a small issue with only this one game!

For some reason the screen is squashed in so there is black at the top and bottom but its not like that for my other Wii games or even other console games so I feel it may be the ISO but I downloaded a USA version and forced PAL and had same problem!

i don't know why the game seems to run with so much space left at the top and bottom, its like this:


imagine the outside edges are my tv, its kinda like this, there is so much black space between top and bottom:

all the black space between the done button and the actually video are the black vorders and i have those on my new super mario bros wii game, i wanna know how to remove these, thanks

Probably because you're not playing in widescreen mode.

Yeh, but my tv is small but so i cant have it in wide screen ether, it cuts off some of marios lives counter etc. on left and cons

What should I do? Can i fix this so i can get it to fit on my screen via a video patch, is there any way to play thsi on my 1920 x 1280 monitor?
