Yes, but which other hacks have SKJmin on their team? And plus, I'm actually modifying levels to give a challenge already, so 1-1's and 1-2's challenges are done. 1-1 is simple, 1-2 is harder.

And it seems that I'm 24% done World 1 for a later beta, over 50% for this one. Yep, December release date for 1-1 to 1-Tower.

Nah, I constantly make pointless betas to see my progress. I have about 3 archives right now with different points in time of my hack.

The December beta is for everyone, period. I'm trying to get it before the 10th, but you can never be too sure.

I also updated the site, just sayin'.

I bet you imagined this in Farnsworth's voice, right? Don't lie.

Anyway, 1-3 is done, it's November 31st according to my Nintendo clendar (which I consider as a real word after Ashens- because everything needs a clendar), and I'm starting 1-4 soon! Now, how do I place the hidden entrance without screwing it up?

Just saying that the real castles are going to be at the end, so towers are custom-levels. Yep.

Yes. Yes, it will.

As NSMBe has 5 unused texture maps (score!) I can make custom textures without screwing up the rest.

I won't risk it. Sure, I make needless backups (speaking of which, I need to make one) but I know to avoid these levels, it causes a bossmute usually.

Forget it....The only way to skip this potection is editing the complete hex thingy...
Every other "skilled" replacement will kill the Boss' sound!

PS: You have to change the complete hex values for each Tower and Castle levels! (not for the tileset only!!)
Also... do not change any of the backgrounds on ther TOWER /CASTLE levels!
They will get the boss soundless tooo

I'm sure you have realized that changing "a pecial tileset" changes all other tilesets too...
For example the Cliff tileset^^

Yep, hence I'm using unused levels. Nothing has that, AFAIK.

Did you change the tileset from the Castle (or tower) set?
