I really don't get you :)
Where is the problem when someone "steals" your work, YOU ARE STEALING Nintendo's work sfter all... *smile*

PS: You should see this as a small feedback, buddy!

Just look at this guy, he is editing MY OWN NSMB3-levels and recreating his own game :)
I really don't have a problem with that, more the opposite! I love it...

AND MY GAME IS FINISHED to 100%...
What would you do when someone steals content after finished the game?

PS: Search for "SKJmin" on Youtube and you'll see that hundreds of members reuploading my trailers and walktroughs xD

We added so much new things which our own. Then I think its not ok to steal. If the hack is finished, ok then they can do it if they want. But we spent a lot of time doing the things. For example: We made the rain in HEX! Only because the editor wasnt able to edit textures properly.

I know what you mean, I'm just saying that you cannot stop them... When they really want those features, they get them, no matter how stony the road is!
This the internet, every friendless lonely guy may get balls and mighty in the virtual world, sad but true!

I told you once, just keep those new things in secret, everytime you show something new it may get attention and the risk to getting "stolen" raises :)
I told you also to finish your hack "in secret", I personally finished my world 4, gave a demo and said I don't have time to do more...
And then voilla, I gave the last 4 worlds at once and the attention about the game raised again!! Community was in shock...

Why do you think, no one steals from Luckwii's hack!?
Because he isn't posting any new feature, he keeps everything in secret!^^

However, just finish your hack...
Let me know and I'll add you in my partners link to advertising "your" game (my website)
I think that's a great advertisement, because my blog gets visitors who are REALLY interested in NSMB!
Not like Youtube or here, who "just read/watch over" some threads... I think you know what I mean^^

@Pinggouin7
It's not out yet.
And it will never be released :)
I stopped with NSMB hacking, since no one gives so much attention to it anymore to make the "work" worth :)

The next "full" hack you should really try is New Metroid Bros.!
I saw the new features and even I am amazed!
Didn't know that he can get so much things out of the engine...

Luckwii is the most motivated guy in the NSMB community!
His game is at least 3-4 times bigger than the original NSMB!!
It has even more textures/tablets as Donkey Kong Country 3 :)

@mariofanatic
So, I'm trolling... ...
I think it's better to ignore you and your hack from now on.
I thought you were one of the smarter/wiser guys, we also could have worked together...
Now you lost a "partner"!

Good luck with your hack!

Oh yes, I know what you mean :O We just finished the title logo: 2 others made it :O We are releasing a video: Many ask what the Tile Behavior of these Warp-Blocks are (inlcuding luckwii xD) and so on. But we just showed two of the many new features. Our game isnt the same as the second beta anymore :)
And I know also what you mean with the community. I mean, I have fun making NSMB hacks, but I'm making them for others, so they can play it. If they are "just read/watch over" people, its pointless to make the hack. I'm glad to see that nsmbhd.net is playing this hack. But this community seems to not know how hard it is to macke good hacks (except for a few).

As I said, many started with a NSMB hack, only a handfull are really coming out of world 2 :)
Good luck with your hack buddy!

Dude I can tell just one thing!

IT IS AWESOME when you see other playing YOUR stuff :)
The best is when they can't find a secret exit or a star coin and asking for help :D

/edit: We shouldn't better go offtopic :)

I believe that's an attempt to piss me off. = Trolling.

But really, I don't care what you think about my hack, I've always thought you had the world's most over-inflated ego anyway...

Hmm, I see this as a compliment... (I should show some PM's of you maybe... but this is getting to childish...)
[asshole-ego-mode: ON] We'll see how you handle when your hack gets the million-download miletsone! [asshole-ego-mode: OFF]

For the record if anybody here cares. I don't make hacks for their popularity, I do it for the sheer pleasure of accomplishment.

I updated the first post earlier with the World 5 Trailer but I forgot to bump the thread!! :blonde moment:

Here's another new feature for ya, Multi-Layered Levels. I've used an optical illusion to give the feeling that the player can move between two "layers" of the level. At the moment I only have two levels that use this, one of them is only very minor, but I'm hoping that this feature will be handy for World 6 too. After World 6 and 7, World 8 will be heavily inspired by Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, with a pinch of Super Mario Land 2's Space Zone.

I'm not going to reveal to you how I'm going to do these, but I have managed to do them in some way:

-Pipes that Rotate Gravity
-Low Gravity Areas
-A Water in Orbit, much like a level in Super Mario Galaxy 2
-Light Paths like Launch Star paths.
-Possible Use of The "Upside Down" switch from the Final Castle
-An Epic Final Boss Scene

I've fully finished World 5 now. I'll be giving the demo to the very few testers I have left and World 7 will be the next to be finished, likely within a week. So World 6 and 7 will be bundled with the same demo. After that, the Grand Finale, World 8. The hardest World to make, In every possible aspect.
