New Spirit Tracks Details
NoA revealed a lot more for the upcoming Zelda title, Spirit Tracks.
Nintendo of America revealed a few details concerning “The Legend of Zelda : Spirit Tracks”. They inform us that the story takes place about a century after the events of Phantom Hourglass. They also mention that exploration will be a big part of the game and that link will eventually be able to lay down his own tracks. You will also be able to upgrade your train.

And on a side note, the next issue of Nintendo Power will feature an extensive blow out article for Spirit Tracks.

Who else thinks this game is going to be wack? I mean it's not even a new game for one thing just recycled from the other one basically, and its' because people kept bothering nintendo for a new zelda...so now we get a train sim.

Wow, this might actually turn out to be better than PH.

I'm not sure I like the idea of laying my own tracks, trains in a Zelda game still feels wrong, but if it means more exploration instead of less, then I'm all for it!

OMFG!!!!!!!!!11!1!ONE!!!!!!
(Total UBAR Zelda Fan over here!!)

I thought this game would suck total arse like Phantom Hourglass, but after hearing this, not only was is placed on the timeline for me, but it also sparked my full interest in the game now. I think it was coming out November 7th 2009, most likely with AP on it because it is a major Nintendo Tittle (Much like Pokemon!)

o.O, is there a hype in sight???
i am a absolute zelda fanatician, but this info is very lame:. it seems like the gameplay of the game is completely recycled from the prequel, the arguments mentioned aren't very new
-exploration will be a big part of the game; don't every zelda include exploration parts?
-Link will eventually be able to lay down his own tracks; riding tracks or riding boat like on tracks, i am wondering if there is a big difference excepting the lack of digital water
-You will also be able to upgrade your train;

yes, thats what i ever wanted, since it was missing in the prequel???

so nothing new in in sight, who cares, i will buy it anyway

...So it's just Phantom Hourglass with a train instead of a boat? "Laying out your own tracks" just sounds like plotting your course in Hourglass, and customization was avaliable for your boat.

I'm borderline on this game. I would have loved an Ocarina of Time remake (like how they did SM64 DS) instead.

Looking forward to new Zelda, whatever they decide to do....I'll play it..

Loved the PH, and probably will love this as well....

I do wish they make the option to use buttons as well...not only touch screen!

This. I tried Orcarina of Time on an emulator and it was fucking awesome. If they remade that I would faint from joy.

The way I look at it is,its free (Don't pretend you don't get free games, you know you do) and im such a Zelda fan even if they made Phantom Hourglass 2 I would enjoy it,so recycled game play or not,im grabbing this.
