We do infact have a github, tho it is private only thing seen is a readme, but if nintendo comes after up we are making the code public, and also if you joined our discord then i could prob ask you some question because you coded in the past. My discord: thom5582

UPDATE x2: the website updated to: "i was lying, join reviive". I didn't really understand what he meant by that, I think either he was just lying and won't continue the project, or he was lying that he cancelled the project, then started working together with Reviive (which is apparently another revival project, but I couldn't find much info about this one).

Man, this is just getting more and more confusing...

LOL, I didn't even know this post existed. I updated that, in fact I own the ftolnks.xyz domain which was my portfolio. The reason why it said "we'll be right back" is because someone thought it would be a good idea to revive NSC, and that shutdown in less than 12 hours, so I changed it to say "I was lying, join reviive" because I work there as a website developer and other stuff (https://ftolnks.xyz by the way, you'll see it's somewhat similar to nsc)

Yeah I think it would be a much better use of everyone's time trying to revive Netflix or the BBC iplayer channels than the shop channel, at least people would get some kind of valid usage out of the other two.

I agree. Why don't they try to revive something else on the Wii? The Wii had (and has) lots of interesting channels on it, official or not.

Ive never seen nintendo go after eshop stuff, but I think the people who tried to revive the shop have been too inexperienced to pull it off, and the people who would be able to know how to pull it off do not want to work on this. The Wii Shop uses a ugly combination of embedded HTML, page templates, and most difficult of all SOAP responses which have to be done right in order to download games properl, and if there was a homebrew app to download WADs straight on your Wii I feel like that would be more worthy

It actually exists, it's called Shoplifting Channel, but only half a dozen people still have it.

It doesn't download wads, it downloads files from nus, and I don't even have any source and it's not really even mine to release. Frankly nus downloader or nusget could probably be modified to patch downloads pretty easily... but again, the ppl capable aren't interested, and I don't blame them

Im here to say that there is no more revivals of wiishop known, if there is they are private, or dont use discord for a good reason(drama) at this point i dont count on pepole making any revivals anymore
