As the title says. I am getting a 64 gb sd card. My 3ds has cfw on it so if I copy the contents of my old sd card and put it on my new one can I still use cfw and not brick?

Yeah, just copy the files over.
If you're running emunand it's a bit more involved, but you shouldn't be running emunand anyways :)

It's pointless these days with A9LH.

Just make sure you format it to FAT32 first, cards larger than 32 GB are ExFAT formatted by default. Windows' built in formatter won't format 64 GB or larger cards to FAT32, so you'll need a 3rd party tool like guiformat.

emuNAND is useless with a9lh because with a9lh you can update sysnand safely keeping hacks and you can unbrick sysnand if you ever need to
. If you don't use a9lh install it using 3ds.guide
Does not 3ds.guide method create emuNand in sd card?

When I select+start with sd card in, different luma3ds gets loaded.

3ds.guide doesn't require you to make an emunand anymore. A very early version of the guide required emunand for installing but now emunand is not needed for installing a9lh

How can I determine if I installed old version of the guide?

**Sorry for a lot of posts. But I am sure it will help me and others!**

See if your console boots without an sd card. If it does boot you're likely using menuhax or you installed a9lh recently. if it doesn't boot (light turns on then off) then just do https://3ds.guide/updating-a9lh

is it possible to have different games on different sd cards ?
Likely, if you just clone your SD then on one uninstall all games, you should be able to install other games. But I would rather get a bigger SD card than a second one and hassling with swapping around.
