Hm. Could be a few things. Makes me wonder.
Bootrom bug patched.
If it is, I honestly don't think it's anything to worry about, so early in the switch'es lifespan you think?
Whatever their reason, it was big enough to warrent a revision. Hopefully it hasn't squashed too many bugs. That, and hopefully they fixed any actual problems there might have been with the hardware.
probably just some new hardware
that's what a revision is...
This is nothing new, companies do it all the time.
im just sayimg its probably just hardware
no bug fixes or anything
Yes. Just curious as to what the difference will be.
I can smell a TX announcement soon, in the meantime be ready to stock up on first revision switches lol
most likely trying to fix bootrom/trustzone exploits
I would guess it's the screens that have been modified. And maybe titanium inside to keep it from bending
I wish something like HW upgrade is happening!
Maybe will we have a switch Pro or plus soon?
i highly doubt any changes like that mostly expect bootrom exploits to be patched
Should be interesting if this has any thing too it.
No. This is a development device, those always have different model number than the retail units (such was true with 3DS with the Panda units)
It could just be a slightly simplfied board design, which would be par for course a year later.
Oboi, New Nintendo Switch? Or a cappy shaped Nintendo Switch (HAT-001).
