Well, there is the built-in Challenge Mode that gives No Backwards...

You can do that with view settings, but there isn't a special mode for it

dunno if jceggbert put the blocks for it in ... views can be a pain to work with
and it really isn't that important either   >_>

It is not in the view settings, it is a certain sprite that has the name "Scroll Stop???" with a certain sprite data that I can't remember at the moment...

And there is a challenge mode, you press a button combo at title screen and that gives you no backwards in all the game, just wondered if we (You guys

) could also remove the wall jump? Heh, maybe I've just asked the equivalent of reversing time, but i dunno

that is the most pointless hidden mode I've ever not seen

removing wall jump could be really easy/hard depending on how
the movement is stored ... I'm going to lean towards really hard

that's exactly what I meant, but I think taking out wall jumping would be like taking the glitches out of SMB... No fun.

I'm going to guess it's really hard since it is most likely stored in the ARM7 binary (or was it ARM9?), like a lot of other things in the game...

P.S.
I should have a screenshot of the new tileset in a couple days

edit: Just so you know, the reason I have a shell and a Mega-Mushroom is because I'm using the 100% save data for NSMB found on FileTrip

In about a week or so, I will have a new beta up for download... It will have 7 more levels from Demo 2.51, a new castle tileset, a remixed underwater tileset, and possibly some classic music, courtesy of OrengeFox over on Jul...

Anyway, there is a demo available already with 9 levels completed... it is in the "Downloads" section of the main post...

"How far are you already?" Look under "Included Levels" on the OP


@everyone: The next release will be "Demo 4" and there will not be a "Demo 3". Mainly because of having so much new stuff and levels in the next release.
