New (?) Resident Evil for 360/PS3, Devil Survivor 2 announced!

- “Septentrion” begin attacking Japan
- These invaders make their attacks once a day
- 13 demon summoners must deal with the attackers within seven days
- Main character is a third year student at a school in Tokyo
- This character gets involved with the Septentrion situation while on his way home from a test
- He learns of his ability to summon demons
- Io: another student in the same grade as the main character
- Io is a gifted student, admired by others
- Daichi: main character’s friend from childhood
- Daichi in the same grade as well
- Daichi is cheerful, doesn’t think too deeply about things
- Simulation/command battle elements
- Obtain new demons through demon auctions
- “Enishi System”: involves your friends
- Kenji Ito working on sound
- Main character designs done by Durarara’s Suzuhito Yasuda
- Mohiro Kitou working on designs for the Septentrion invaders
- Releasing this summer in Japan

I was considering buying a 3DS, but now that this has been announced I guess I'm going to have to. I know its for the DS, but my mum hid it from me because I was a naughty boy and now she doesn't know where she's put it. fml

i'm not buying a 3ds til july, but i guess i gotta change plans. and i gotta speed up in learning japanese so that i don't need to wait for a translation or an english version.

Sounds like a remake of the earlier Resident Evil titles.

As for Devil Survivor 2, Devil Survivor was pretty good but I liked Strange Journey more (or just go with Persona). Still nothing to complain about though.

So basically, those games made HD. Kinda like God of War Collection.

Art-wise yes it is a good idea since they can make the demons simple but highly detailed and anyway you can play it on the 3DS so it's not that big of a deal.

I wish the resident evils would be a disk over in the u.s but sadly only downloadable so i guess i just have to get code veronica cause i already have resi 4 and dont think i want to buy it again...
