Hacking New protection on latest games with Gateway ?

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering, is it normal that my lastest backups do not work with my Gateway (Nintendo 2DS), I mean is there any type of new protection on games ?
The lastest iteration of Fire emblem or Youkai Watch busters does not load, I'm stuck at the "Nintendo 3DS" screen (black and red).
Maybe there is a patch to apply ?

Update your Emunand to 9.8 if your 2DS supports it

I guess my 2Ds does not super Emunand, that's weird ... but when I load througout the internet exporer the Gateway trick, I can access my games via the SELECT button, but when I go on parameters, I'm still on 8.1 instead of G3W ...

That's weird I've GBA virtual console games installed and I'm pretty sure I was in emunand when I installed then ...

have you setup your emunand at all yet?

There is no if's, op did you setup emunand? If not set it up and update, if you have just update. Also make sure to have the latest launcher.dat

the reason I say if is because I don't own a 2DS and never will I remember 2DS having problems with Emunand at one point

I'm amazed you have been using a gateway without knowing much about emunand xD

1. just backup your sd card to your PC
2. Load the gateway menu (Hold L while the gateway webpage loads)
3. Go to Format Emunand and do it
4. Put SD backup back on your SD card
5. unlink your nands

OP step five is done by taking out the sd card and formatting system nand

in fact I already have done that but that's weird I'm not in emunant anymore, I'm sure à 100% I was in emunand when I installed virtua games ... how is it possible that I can not access emunand anymore ?

If you have not formatted the sd card yet you can put it into a pc and see if the volume label is GATEWAY and see if emunand transfer tool picks it up

Now that we verified you have emunand you can update emunand. When in emunand click the settings button, on the top screen right corner on the bottom make sure it says GW3D followed by your firmware, if it does then proceed to other settings then system update. Once done restart, boot emunand and enjoy your games

Also make sure you have 3.2.2 launcher on the sd card
