Here is what I think. On the Pokemon website UB-01 is said to resemblance that of a girl (im assuming lily because she obviously plays a big mysterious role in the game). I think since the game has man made pokemon UB01 was made from lily in Aether. That is why people think it doesn't hold its own emotions cuz its emotions are lilies.
