I suggest you play PSO:BB (PC) to get the full experience of what PSO series is like (well, full experience would be Dreamcast buuuuut) late edit: Also forgot about PS:P2, truly the best PSU experience with a mix of PSO.
Also, SEGA =/= Capcom.

If SEGA plans well there could be cards (like WoW) for 3 months, 12, etc.
