So i'm thinking of rebuilding my current gaming PC with new components as to make sure my PC is ready for the next generation and i also want to play Wii, GC and PS2 games on it.

Would those be okay ? Because my current build has a M4A series motherboard from ASUS, problem is, MOSFETS or MOSFATS, whatever that is, becomes so hot that my CPU throttles down to 1.5GHz on Dolphin, PCSX2 has troubles running. Also MAME plus CAVE Shumps equals CPU throttle because it gets too hot. Tuniq TX-4 thermal paste is because i'm still using the thermal pad that came with the water block

Current build is
M4A78LT-M ASUS Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T at 2.8GHz (Was on a 3.36GHz overclock before)
EVGA Geforce GTS 450
6GB of RAM
1TB hard drive and a 160GB hard drive
Antec 650W Power Supply
Corsair H50 Water Cooler

Yes they will. FX-6300 is not a big improvement over 1055T (at best 5%), but it is extremely efficient than 1055T (less power draw = less demand on VRM/MOSFET).

Combine that with a good AM3+ motherboard (one that has heatsink over VRM) you are good to go. You should be fine with a molex to 8-pin adapter (Antec produces decent to good PSU).
