Anyone who has one want to give their impressions on the new 3D? Is it really as good as they say in that it works from any angle due to the front facing camera?

I can give you my impression on the new 3DS on the XL if you want.
I will say...yeah it really is as good as they say. I was expecting the c-stick to be the best feature, but its really the 3D. Its really rare for the 3D to break now. It pretty much only happens sometimes when it first boots up and detects your face I guess and of course if you put it down and pick it back up, you see the 3D *flicker* back to the optimal spot for like a split second. In gameplay however, no I very rarely have it break and when it does, it fixes itself in a split second really. It mostly really happens when you move the 3DS too fast I guess really, but you wouldnt need to do that playing a game really.

So yeah, I think the super stable 3D is really great really. If only it was around at launch, I think people's opinion of 3D would be much more positive.

I have big hands, but the XL's form factor is too tall for a comfortable grip. Here's to hoping thebsmaller model comes out in the US.

This is basically my problem. My hands are big, but most of it is in the finger length vs my palms. So the smaller 3DS lets me kinda wrap my fingers around the trigger much better and use my fingers for support.

Not to offend, but I really think this just means you have small hands.

New 3DS

the XL's screen is too big. The system is too damn heavy and too damn big. And it doesn't have faceplates

The new 3DS XL's quite big to use (imagine that you're on the bed and holding by two hands to play...). Its screens is awesome with a lot of sesame pixels can be recognized. The new 3DS XL's hinge seems fragile and wobbly (tried 2 in a game shop) with clicking sound as old 3DS's hinge but New 3DS is none, extremely stable.

I guess the N3DS because it is smaller and lighter. Plus it has bigger screens than the original 3DS.

Is the New 3DS' 3D really that much better than regular 3DS. I mean, I am so used to the 3D in my regular 3DS that I rarely lose the sweet spot.
Is the 3D better because you don't lose the sweetspot as easily or does it look more impressive? I think that maybe the anti-glare screen helps with the 3D quality but is there any thing I am missing here?

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
