Here's some gameplay footage from a show floor showing various upcoming Nintendo 3DS games. These clips were taken from a Japanese TV programme called MXTV.

I actually can't wait to get stuck in the (3D) Water Dungeon all over again! So much so that I'm getting a 3DS at launch, (assuming there's sufficient stock).

Normally I don't buy into the hype, but OMFG IT LOOKS SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!

Ridge Racer 3DS

My first thought was "Eat your shorts, Kazuo Hirai!", but then I was all "Oh Gods, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! You've doomed the system!".

ARGH!!!! They're so lucky to play it!!!!! (but they're n00bs) I HATE THAT CAMERAMAN! (he keeps zooming in and out, he should stay zoomed in!)

But anyway, these are the games I'm gonna (atleast) get:

Why wait? You're gonna miss out and maybe get annoyed by everyone being able to play on it except you becuase you are waiting for a new version.

Yes siree! Though Ninty seems to be keeping the game at very graphically-conservative (for now at least... the ground textures look blurry, even from this off-screen video), I'm sure the game's 3D, framerate, and better mo-cap will make the game more graphically-appealing, to match up with the excellent gameplay.

Ridge Racer looks like Ridge Racer, which is all right with me. Resident Evil is, yes, most definitely awesomeness in a half.

Bonus: Got to the 1:00 mark on the Ridge Racer video, and listen to the guy's weird laugh/panic/whattheheck he does in reaction to his spinning out.

the graphics for RE made her gasp (plus with those large headphones, who wouldnt)... notice the shadow at around 2;02, it looked really detailed and dark; she also held the screen when he started hitting the y button (mashing rather) which means the hinge could still be weak
the guy was completely lost in 3D when playing ridge racer and finally exhausted... he should play F1


i thought tht the 3D effect would only be seen by one playing the game but i guess a few degrees right or left doesnt matter
they seem to be promoting the usage of the touchscreen without the stylus (idevice anyone)... plus the upper screen is really shining like the iphone/ipod touch
mesiskope, i think the dpad is even more lonely

PS - The guy with the blue shirt reminds me of Winning Eleven J-League
