Not a lot this week but still a few worth getting and to be honest, I'm still getting through the last few days worth of releases. Quite easy to do this week as the new English releases were already written up in previous topics so I only had to copy and paste, done within ten minutes...lovely. Read on.

Note: Dates have tendency to change and some are just shipping dates meaning that they may not be in the stores on said date. Don't always expect a ROM of a game to appear on the day of release either.

    19th August

Powershot Pinball Constructor Europe Genre: Pinball-me-do (Literally!)

Like Snakes on a Plane, it does exactly what it says on the tin! Design and create pinball tables or just play pinball. You can also share your tables via wi-fi. I was looking forward to this but I get the feeling that it won't be very good. Lets see if this makes the release date, which I don't see it doing as the 19th is on a Sunday and nothing usually gets released on a Sunday in Britain unless its something major! Maybe expect it in the shops on the 20th.

    21st August

I Spy Fun House US Genre: me-do

I SPY Fun House builds on Scholastic Media's popular I SPY franchise with brain-teasing riddles and fast-paced games played exclusively using the Nintendo DS stylus and touch screen. Animal Genius will appeal to players of all ages who are passionate about animals. Featuring stunning, photo-realistic imagery of animals in their natural habitat, the game will challenge the players' knowledge about where animals live, how they behave and what makes them unique. Not my words...looks ok...maybe.

Lifesigns: Surgical Unit US Medical Adventure-me-do

It's a matter of life and death in this hospital adventure game. You must strive to become the top intern at one of the country's best hospitals. As though you were a real doctor, you will be continuously confronted with medical emergencies and personnel issues that require your immediate attention. Communicate and interact with patients, nurses and other doctors in this dramatic medical simulation game where you are the doctor on call! I'd love to see what this is like, and I hope it makes the release date.

Also Out on this day but have been dumped in English already are Turn It Around which I've not played yet, The Settlers which wasn't as good as it should've been, Brain Training 2 which is awesome.

    23rd August.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates Japan Genre: Action adventure RPG-me-do

Witness the tale of twin children blessed by the crystals, whose inseparable fate leads them on a journey fraught with trials. Experience the journey of Ring of Fates in a compelling single-player mode. Tackle challenging quests with the help of your friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode, or play head-to-head multiplayer mode, both supporting up to four players! Looks frigging awesome. This should be more playable to none Japanese speakers as other FF games, if you can play Zelda in Japanese then you should be good with this.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Bikkuriman Daijiten Japan Genre: Card-me-do

    [IMG] [IMG]

    Ecoris Japan Genre:RTS-me-do

Real time strategy game sponsored by the WWF so expect some big body slamming with those gay blokes in lyrca...maybe not as this is to do with the Wildlife WWF not the gay hugging one. You play the role of forest animals whom are tasked with stopping some big, orange Totoro looking monster. The Stylus will be in heavy use since you can literally control armies of beavers, coons, and squirrels. Beavers Vs Squirrels?? I hope this comes out over here!

Gyakuten Saiban 3 (Best Price!) AKA Phoenix Wright 3 Japan (With English Option) Object-me-do

The excellent series returns with the 3rd game, this is the Japanese budget release but unlike the previous GS3 release it will have an English option. This will be released in the US next month, but a lot of people will like to get this before. It does look like its more of the same though but as long as the chapters are interesting and the mysteries are good it'll still be a damn fine game.

Hayate no Gotoku! Japan Genre: Adventure-me-do

Butlers and maids in what looks like a Phoenix Wright affair...could be good but will we ever see it?

    [IMG] [IMG]

    Saketakumi DS Japan Genre: Puzzle-me-do

I NEED HELP WITH IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Only Orc can save me!

That is your lot, I reckon FFCC, LifeSigns and GS3 will take up more of my time. I do wish there was more arcadey games for me to dip in and out of, but hey I guess they'll all to come in the next few months.

Release date sources: Gamefaqs, Aussie-Nintendo.com & Gamespy. Also checked along with various retail & game publishers websites.

Screen & video sources: Gamekult.com, IGN, Kotaku, Youtube & game publishers websites.

Descriptions are by me but sometimes have elements from the games press release.

Looks like another good week for DS games. Really looking forward to Ecoris -- the game looks very neat. As for Ring of Fates, I've been look forward to the game since it was first announced, so I probably won't ruin it by trying to play the Japanese version. I'll just wait for the English version. I intend to savor the game, for sure.

This week is sure a good week. Not sure if Brain Age 2, Turn It Around, and The Settlers will be dumped or not. Brain Age 2 should be though.

Well Turn it Around and Settlers are already dumped in English so can't say I care and Brain Training 2 will only have the currency part changed from the already release Europe version. If they make the release dates I can see them being dumped, maybe by some smallers groups hoping to bump up their profile.

Nice week. That pinball game could be nice, that TraumaCenter-like game too... I'll try Ecoris too. And Gyakuten Saiban 3, a.k.a. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations will of course be the tip of the icecream [IMG]

Although I'm pleased with the UK version of Brain Age. I was pissed one time when I wrote "Center" and I didn't accept my answer, said it was "Centre" [IMG]. But I wouldn't like the currency stuff on US version, 25c coins confuse me... [IMG]

Why don't you just change it to euros?

I'm very glad that the European version was released earlier. Otherwise I'd have had to wait for it, because I need the Dutch translation for that game. And euros are also easier than dollars for me.

That game has been delayed for almost three decades, let's hope this week it's the good one.

Ecoris and Final Fantasy are looking interesting.. too bad they're in japanese.. I'll wait for the US release.

That Pinball Constructor seems nice.. I'll give it a try.
Lifesigns is looking A LOT like "Life and Death" (very old medical DOS game.. ).
    And for Phoenix Wright.. YEY!
