Hacking New Loadiine GX2 with No legit DLC support

I don't know why everyone harped on you. It didn't matter, like I said if a mod saw they might of removed them. Don't take it personally, some of GBATemp members are self appointed hall monitors. What they tell you is illegal and stuff just take witha grain of salt.

Don't spread lies. He is giving out DLC which you normally have to pay for. That is illegal.

ok, I'll try to end this now with my whole point. Any non-mod members really have no obligation to tell anyone what they can and can't do. The user would would not have legal problems from posting these links so it's not like anyone is protecting him. Additionally the multiple references to forum rules kind of also makes it seem like that's not the point.

now I have no knowledge of law, but I have been on the internet long enough to see what happens when copyrighted information is shared. If it came down it, at most would be a DMCA or some equivelent being sent to gba temp

Most people just pointed out the forum rules to avoid the possibility of your thread being reported. May as well sort it yourself, rather than having a mod do it.

I personally use and appreciate the Loadiine GX2 Mod, so no judgement here.

You do not have to compile it. Go to https://masqchips.github.io/loadiine_gx2/ and download the binary (right-most link). It was compiled after the illegitimate DLC update. It just doesn't include the refractor for fixing the spelling of illegitimate.

Could you explain how I can compile it myself? Someone was trying to tell me I needed to self host to get Masqchips mod to work.

Compile it and use it is 2 different things.
To use it, just do like loadiine GX2, but replace the loadiine GX2 on the sd card by the loadiine MOD.

"To build the main application devkitPPC is required as well as some additionally libraries. Download the libogc and portlibs packages from the release pages and put them in your devkitPro path. Replace any existing files. If not yet done export the path of devkitPPC and devkitPRO to the evironment variables DEVKITPRO and DEVKITPPC. All remaining is to enter the main application path and enter "make". You should get a loadiine_gx2.elf and a loadiine_gx2_dbg.elf in the main path."

So I can load homebrew off loadiine.ovh and go to the modded Loadiine GX2 and it should work? I've just tried countless time with Mario Kart 8 with no luck.

Yep, it will work that way.
For mario kart 8, maybe you will have to use the smash bros mode (and NOT mii maker) to use the DLC.
