New Knight Rider pilot on NBC

I just watched it. I want my 2 hours back.

1. WAY TO MUCH CG! The original series had all real shots of the car going fast and everything. There are afraid to scratch the new car.
2. KITT talks way to much about how he can't feel emotions.
3. 2 spoilers? WTF? They had 2 up when trying to go fast down a straight. Spoilers are for grip, not high speed.
4. The CG sucks.
5. The acting? That sucked too.


So, what do you guys think?

The CG was fine. Nothing wrong with it at all. I can't say the episode was the greatest though. I think that it would be more interesting now that they got the setup stuff done. And I loved the final shot. I was hoping they'd do something like the semi dumping the car out on the original. Since it's a backdoor pilot, no series is yet announced. But I think I'd watch if they did make one. As long as it didn't get too stupid like the last season or two of the original....or Team Knight Rider.

EDIT: I loved the 4 ads they had though. I think the show needed more comedy bits like those ads.

Not seen it yet (waiting for the hd rip) , but can't see it being very good. No Hoff=fail.

And how the car didn't get moved at all in the crash shot?

The sheriff's acting was terrible.

Yes, those things bugged me. Apparently it can change density as well according to that shot. And how she was shooting at the bad guys after she just told Mike not to ram their car because her father was inside. She could have just shot the tires too. And a bunch of others things along those lines.

Saw the Jay Leno special on the new GT500KR customized for the series. I must say, I was impressed with what they did with the car. They actually rigged it to have no driver pretty awesome. Anyway, I thought the pilot was meh, it has potential and it was better than Bionic Woman's pilot by a long shot. I liked the new Mike though but hated the overall plot and the god damn stupid editing. They need to learn when to cut to commercial, I swear it seemed like they were cutting scenes in mid-sentence sometimes.

God, the Hoff was the man when he was Michael Knight...WTF happened.

Knight Rider + A-Team = WIN!

I watched the old series back when I was a kid. I loved how they carried the series on from the old one, instead of doing a total remake. I liked the pilot, and just hope the others are as good.

I don't know, but I was never a General Motors fan. I prefer Mustang, not only because of the classic look, but also because of the exotic looks. That being said, This mustang would've been the real American Dream:

Just watched this tonight , was quite surprised. Thought it was pretty enjoyable , I've seen a lot worse. Would definitely watch if it gets a series. How ever , cgi was bad , very bad on some parts , it just looked so fake

, although I guess it's that or the speeded up video of the original. If it gets a series , hopefully they'll up the budget or get a better company to do the cgi for it. Not enough hoff

I still say they should have gone with a GT.

Yeah, Dave being the father and all kinda made the story alittle more sense. However, this series could've been alot worse off, so I say give it a try.

I've never seen a show where the acting was so bad, especially Sarah, I've never witnessed such a bad actor in a major tv show in all my life, she definitely needs replacing as soon as possible.
