New job descriptions suggest that Obsidian is currently hiring for a "high profile RPG"
While Obsidian Entertainment has been busy lately, being bought up by Microsoft and creating the highly-anticipated RPG The Outer Worlds, the company appears to be working on yet another project, behind the scenes. According to a job listing recently posted on Linkedin, Obsidian is on the hunt for twelve new writers and developers who are willing to work on a multiplatform "AAA high profile role-playing game", with melee and ranged combat gameplay, and a day and night cycle, which runs on Unreal Engine 4. While a Pillars of Eternity 3 would be expected for the studio, it seems that this project will be more like The Outer Worlds, seeing as that it runs on UE4, rather than Tyranny and Pillars, which both ran on Unity, as well as the fact that the game will take place in a first-person POV. If this game makes it to the development stage, we'll likely see a teaser trailer for it at next year's Microsoft E3 conference.
