Hacking New Japanese WiiWare wads

Maybe there is a patch that could make the rom work with Flashcards and the WiFi on the Wii.

That damn not-working text. Wow it's lame that North American Wiis don't have Japanese installed.

Also, none of the flash cards on the market support Wii-DS connectivity. If anyone sees some success then please post it!
GBAtemp's reviewers and cart manufacturers have stopped considering this an issue. I can't agree but oh well.

That's not true.
I linked Geometry Wars and Pokémon, with any problems.

I have resolved the issue. Everything started working after getting the latest 3.2U update from Nintendo. The ones will blank banner titles work too now.

Dr Mario wasn't working for me. I checked for Wii updates, and there was an update (very tiny, didn't change version number either), that went through. Once the update went through, Dr. Mario began working. Hope this helps.

I don't understand, Dr Mario works perfectly on my PAL Wii (3.2E with Wiikey) but I can't seem to get this ping pong game to work. Only black screens. STRANGE!!!! Anybody out there with a little tip?

I think this guy is full of shit because NO ONE has got the ping pong game to work on PAL. I myself have tried Freethewads with regionfree and PAL settings and it doesn't work on any of them in any TV mode.

not true, the cyclo DS is just 1 of the flash carts out there that works with pokemon battle revolution usa and pal versions, it's just the poor R4 that doesn't have this support, the G6 real i believe also supports this feature but not the m3 real.

for those with flashcards, i have managed to do a DS-to-Wii connection, with an EZ5, clean mode rom. for ranch, i just copied my usa savefile, renamed it for JP rom and it worked
