Hacking New Here and I need help! How to install CIAs and homebrew

Hello all! I've just bought two New 3DS XL that have come with Luma3ds 9.1 I have never modded a 3ds myself so I have no idea how to get any content on the console. I figured the select + power when starting it up but that's all. I put the micro SD card in my computer and didn't see anything worth noting. Please help! Or if possible point me in the right direction.

P.S. one of them is actually a 3DS LL

Thanks! Looking over that guide it looks like I'm missing quite a few files. I checked one SD card but not both. I'm going to check the other shortly to see what it's got on it.
