Chronoblade in the works for 3DS
    - being developed by Corecell (creators of Wicked Monsters Blast Wii)
    - involves multiple scrolling platforms on the top screen
    - fight through each level to get to the boss
    - script is currently being written
    - simple puzzle solving
    - similar style to Castlevania
    - bottom screen has a clock that you can manipulate with the stylus
    - this clock lets you rewind to a previous time, and reset your character
    - sometimes you'll have to obtain things in the present and then take them back to the past to unlock new paths
    - hoping to release in Feb. 2012
    - still in early planning stages
    [/p]

I'm somewhat interested in this one althought it's still in early phases. It looks like it will a be fun game according to the description, hopefully we'll get a trailer later this year that shows some footage so we can judge the game correctly.

This actually looks quite interesting, I love castlevania so any 'clone', especially one with time travel, has my interest. Also I like the character design (at least the design of the character that is shown in the pic) it somehow reminds me of the big sisters in bioshock 2 (most likely the colour and the tattered nature of her cape thingy that reminds me of the scraps that the sisters used for their suits).

This doesn't appeal much to me.

Never managed to get into castlevania.

Seems like some decent ideas but I've never heard of this dev and the one game they mention looks far from a good game to brag about.

If the art is a sign of quality, I don't really give a shit about previous games. This looks GOOD.

Not really hyped for this, especially since the developers haven't done anything that good so far. Ideal game to download when the 3DS gets hacked [IMG]

is it like that Lux-pain game in terms of time traveling and puzzles? it was a good game albeit too short
a 3ds version would make it immerse to an extent otherwise i dont graphics are needed of "such kind" as in the OP's post

Always good to see new original IP announced and not a old port/remake.

When I saw the title name I thought Chrono Trigger + Xenoblade (and that would be the Best RPG Ever and Forever) LOL.

If it's a Metroidvania, I'm in. The character looks like the one from the new unreleased Bloodrayne game (which looks great too).

From the sounds of things, it is more old school Castlevania by the description of a boss at the end of each stage.

Sounds like a great game, I hope it doesn't get cancelled as I really REALLY want to play it.

At first I thought it was a Chrono Trigger sequel, but oh well.
Any Castlevania-ish game is good for me [IMG]. I like the art style based on the pic

Classic Castlevania? No problem for me either. I love both styles.
