New DSi XL colors and DSi price cuts

Nintendo’s lifted the lid on three new DSi LL colours in Japan, as has announced a general drop for the machine.

Blue, Green and Yellow versions of the oversized handheld are to release on June 19.

DSi LL has now been cut to ¥18,000, down from ¥20,000. DSi has been pushed down to ¥15,000 from ¥18,500.

Pretty, innit. No word on the new colours, or the price cut, releasing outside Japan.

Nintendo is to show the next generation of DS, 3DS, at E3 later this month.

I'd read somewhere else that Nintendo was cutting prices of ALL DS models in Japan! Is that wrong?

EDIT: Turns out it's true, the DS lite price is dropping as well, from 16.8k yen to whatever the retailer wishes to put it as.

I love the yellow or blue one. Why couldn't they have released these beautiful colors at launch. I wonder when or if we will see these in the US. Somehow I hope we don't because I will want to trade in my burgundy one.

These colors are fucking AWESOME. Basic fucking colors, nothing fancy. Perfect. I want the green so badly. It's BEAUTIFUL. Bring these to the US. NOW!
