From what I've been hearing (and correct me if I'm wrong, please

), it seems that a lot of the DS slot only solutions coming out have crappy homebrew compatibility. I also remember hearing about a lot of shakeup in the homebrew community (people leaveing, etc.). So is it possible that these new solutions are going to have poor homebrew at launch and also a long time before they are compatible with a lot of homebrew?

I've already pretty much decided to hold off until there's a fairly inexpensive single slot solution that can do homebrew, since that's all I care about, but I don't want to be too long in waiting.

Thanks!

homebrew using FAT drivers would likely be the least compatible. stuff that runs autonomously should work fine because it acts as its own piece of code enclosed in itself.
