Hardware New DS owner looking to play GBA games

As stated, I am a fairly new DS owner, and want to clarify what I need to buy to play GBA titles. I own a cyclo ds evo, and have been lead to believe that I should get an EZ 3 in 1. Is that about right? How do they work? Does it load off of a micro sd card like the cyclo?

I'm sure if I checked through the forums, this has been answered a thousand times, so thanks in advance for your patience, and your lack of heckling.

And further to that, to play GBA games, do you have to screw about patching roms etc., etc., or is it simply a matter of dropping them onto whatever media you need? Is there one device that is better than the others?

http://wiki.gbatemp.net/index.php?title=3_..._for_EZ-Flash_V should help with your data search. Games that use EEPROM or Flash for saving will need to be SRAM patched, but that's only a one-time deal, after which point the DS-side software handles the saves.
