Renegade Kid are working on their first DS title "The Ward" looks smooth to me, with a fair bit of detail too. I also like the look of the torch on it.

    Company blurb:
"Renegade Kid has assembled a small group of talented industry veterans, each with over 11 years of experience in the development of video games, to create "next-generation" titles for the Nintendo DS. Their 3D engine boasts unparalleled atmosphere and a visual quality not yet seen on the Nintendo DS.

Renegade Kid is actively seeking a publisher for their exciting Nintendo DS title.

Development of the game is scheduled to be completed in time for it to be on retail shelves before Thanksgiving 2007."

If those are the real pics, it's looking good. Whether game play is good is a whole another topic.

Yeah kinda looks similar to Dead 'n' Furious but not on the rails. Could be good...maybe.

Looks like we have our goldeneye DS replacment.

The pics look really good for DS stuff.
Though those monsters look like crap compared to the surroundings.
Still, just looking at the pics makes me wanna buy the game.
Cant wait to see how it turns out. Looks like a fun FPS survival horror :3
And is that a notepad and items menus there?
Im assuming some mind bending puzzle elements will be added.

From that list there though, it seems like they have alot of experience to count for. (Good and bad games = good expereince either way)
Its no doubt this is gonna be a good one.

Cool, the more of these kind of games the better. I know of two many ppl
jumping to the PSP saying the DS is too kiddy. I hope it’s a good FPS/ ADV.

God, I wish the game companies would start to understand this. FF3 looks worse on the DS than it did on the NES. The Saturn had much better 3D than the DS. Hell, the 3DO might have even had better 3D.

Hopefully this will be more in the style of System Shock than just a shooter. If it's more of an adventure/exploration type of game, it won't matter so much if the controls and framerate aren't good.

Looks very so-so. My gut is telling me it's going to be bad.

Only one way to find out though.

Very impressive trailer, a bit short though but still enough to make me go "whoa". Screenshots are so-so.

It looks like it's just applying a fullbright hack behind the torch/flashlight beam. I can't tell if it's working properly on the enemy/monster thingy or not.

I'm still waiting for a decent FPS on the DS... I wonder if this might be it... Graphics look good enough for me, though. [IMG]

Oh stop complaining about graphics. That's not why you bought your DS in the first place.

All they need to do is have good gameplay and this will be an awesome portable game to own.
