Gaming New Donkey Kong Game.

I "got a copy" and its meh. Its DK so I will go through and play the whole thing but the game play is annoying as hell.

Loved the bloody game! So much so I think its the best DK game where you play DK.

I liked the old ones but that doesn't mean I want that kind of gameplay.

But this DK game sucks in controls and overall design. It's plain horrible. I want to jump but he makes that annoying jump like he wants to swing. It feels like you're masterchief again defying gravity.

Yeah thats because he DOES want to swing

As for L+R buttons, you can use the d-pad as well.

You guys really like the controls? Its the same as King of Swing, nothing very new.

I find it better than KoS. Might be because I can see more of the level with two screens. Also, it might be because I played almost every GBA games on emulator, so it might ruin the game sometimes.

EDIT: Why are people asking how the games are if they can just download it and try it for themselves?

I really like this game... but I can see where its not for everyone.

I love this game but some parts of it are just flat-out ridiculous...

For instance, that dual screened mirror part annoyed the hell out of me, as well as that foggy level that had you peeking at the bottom screens every few seconds for... a map?

I think they took it too far with the innovation at certain parts, I was just fine with the flow of the game and originality of the "swinging" gameplay at first, but those little extra parts thrown into level increase the difficulty to a frustrating level...

Also, I love how it stays true to it's DKC formula... If DK takes one hit, start over (although, this too, is frustrating at times

)

Lastly, anyone who collects every item from every stage is just amazing in my book. It seems close to impossible for me...

DKC3 really was good, its the only (along with pkmn slvr) gbc game i play
the game is really weird and i havent even gotten past the first level yet
the innovation is ok but its not for me

btw, what are the chances of a new DKC game coming out?
