We got modchips named 'Wiitop' from vendor.
They claim the Wiitop is as good as Wasabi.
Can be update via DVD, only 9 wires for D2C Wii...etc

Here is the pictures for your reference.

Interesting... have you tried it out?

    How is the pricing?

Do you have any drives that have issues with wasabi to test it on?

Well, the interesting thing... is they're using a Lattice based FPGA rather than Actel... so it's probably not a straight dump and flash trick.... unless they're compatible chips.

Infectus dumped wasabi is less than 24 hours, its easy. They just tweaked the firmware and put it on a new board.

considering the wasabi has issues, its probably the best modchip to clone hey?
People jump at cheap chips before thinking about support. Do I have to remind people of what happened with SMG came out?

    It works like wasabi does.
Don't have to set up layer break.
Pricing can be seen in my website.

I tested with 2 wii which can't be modded with wasabi, one is ok, one is not ok, either with wiitop.
It's a good choice, but if wasabi team release update, don't hope too much with wiitop can be updated with them.
    Just try your luck [IMG]

Just refuses to work naturally with about 10% of wii drives. You have to do a bunch of stuff at the moment to get the wii to work
I still love the modchip though, it has changed the modding scene already. Clones are good too, the more modchips the better it is for prices for the consumer.

A bunch of stuff to get it to work = add one resistor.

Of course it's not a clone it uses a all different micro controller and the Micro controller basically is the Modchip

And when someone like d2pro brings out their 9 wire version that works perfectly, that 'one resistor' = equals hundreds of thousands of USD in lost sales.

Wow! That's fast for Wiitop to reach the mass market.

Does anyone know the website for more information regarding wiitop?

I'm thinking, does it support D2A/D2B (though Wiikey can support it), just another choice will be great. [IMG]

You inow, just because it uses the other drive serial port doesn't make it a clone of the wasabi
