Like an austrian Singer said "I am from Austria"
Since 1982 i´m with "electric" Game + Programming Things.It was an Atari 800XL with Dataset + Printer.Make first "softwarecontact" with Microsoft.....
Later i skipped the Atari ST/Amiga experience - no money
Then comes Sega with Mega Drive 1,the Sega CD 2,32X and then the first Sony PlayStation (the one with the "overheating" Powerunit and the stuttering CD Drive by FMV but the best CD Audio component yes the SCPH-1000).
Worked with 286/386/486 PC´s,first experiences with Windows....
In these Days comes my first "own" PC,an AMD 200MMX with Windows 95.
Christmas 2000,yeah my first PlayStation 2 (no present,buy it by myself)
PC is rising and rising over the years (Pentium III,Pentium 4).2002,2005,2008
BUT......
something strange happens.....consoles have Internet,PC Graphiccards costs more then a hole PC.......no not with me.
2010 my wife got an used PC - Pentium 4 with 3 Ghz (Prescott wonderful in winter no heating necessary) with Windows XP,i love it Microsoft 2nd best OS.Coming back to PC. but no Games to play for me...Graphiccards still to expensive..playing Emulators from Sega,Atari...
but still NO Nintendo adventure (except the Resident Evil Story
) i don´t much like Nintendo....
My wife (still) have an GAMEBOY,playing a little Mario Land.....bää not for me my hero is Sonic.
December 2014: my very first Nintendo expierience.I´ve got an used Gamecube for Christmas... huurraaa....
oh whats this,Resident Evil on Gamecube....hmm...ok i´ll try.....play it til today.
and from this day on the Console Rollercoaster (including Nintendo) is on the way.....thanks to my wife.
After the last 2 Years i´ve only reading here in the wonderful,great and unique forum.Why ? knowledge,explorations,wisdom,patience AND very,very friendly and polite interaction/contact/behavior here.
