I upgraded to this from my r4. I had heard that if you use the AKAIO firmware, it should be able to read the .sav files just fine, that isn't the case for me. The firmware worked but ya, it just won't read the .sav files. So, can anyone help me out here. Also, since i just got this acekard, anyone got any good recommendations for some homebrew apps?

PS, sry i didn't use search but the admin took that down for a while.

when you've got akaio loaded, press start to bring down the list of options. choose 'system options' then go through the menu till you see 'save ext.' change it to .sav and it should work after that.

r4 saves work fine on the akrpg and ak2 and ak2.1 using akaio firmware. make sure in the options of akaio you have it set to load .sav and not .nds.sav which is the default setting. as for homebrew, go through the homebrew section of the gbatemp download center and the homebrew news posts and grab what looks fun.

That's a pretty nice list [IMG]

If you can't find the thing that changes the sav extension (it's really easy to miss) you can just manually change all the .sav's to .nds.sav.

thx for the info guys. I wish i looked at this before i googled. I ended up changing all of my extentions for my .sav files to nds.sav. Waste of time for me, but thx anyways. Also, thx for the apps suggestions, i'll be lookin into those.
