Hacking New 3dsxl v9.9 old r4i Gold can I still use it?

Going to sound stupid here but just got a 3ds xl and I found my old r4i #DS Revolution for DS card.. is there any guides to get this to work for the 3dsxl on firmware 9.9 or can I upgrade it to 10.x?

Or am I going to need a new card? Im not looking for 3ds game support but my DS / GBA stuff?

You'll need to downgrade to 9.2 and install the TWL_FIRM patch to use it.

No no, you can downgrade to 9.2 and setup an EmuNAND so you can still play online. Google is your friend.
