Breaking news: here comes the 3DS link! We have just been informed that a new 3DS flashcart is making the rounds. It appears to be a simple clone of the Gateway 3DS flashcart.

Update: another clone, the R4i 3DS Gold Deluxe Edition - no, that isn't a joke, it's the actual name of the product. It seems to share the same feature list as the 3DSlink, including the "Ramble pak". Yay!

The official website is only available in Chinese.

Package Includes:

1*Blue card
1*USB Micro SD Card Reader

2.Support latest 3D games
3.Support latest DSi and 3DS games
4.Support all kind of 3DS and DSi console

2013-10-29 Update - 29.10.2013
After the hard work of the last few months , the 3dslink is now available for sale

2013-10-28 – Update - 28.10.2013
Currently it is not compatible with firmware above 4.5 but we are working on making it compatible as quickly as possible with 5.x and 6.x firmwares.

It is a very hard work, we do not sure about when the 3dslink will work on the consoles(5.x and 6.x)

If some people said that the 6.x 3d card will coming soon , it must be a cheater.

But we believe that We will be the first one who can hack successfully

2013-10-27 – Update - 27.10.2013
About the red(3d) card ,it can play 3d games, but it doesn’t have user-cheat features now , So we are working on the user-cheat features.

 Read more on the official site (in Chinese. The english version looks broken)
 Check out the 3DSLink ShopTemp page, prices will appear here when stores sell the product

Dude. It's from China. The price is...cheaper :-)

Produced in China means it can be copy by Chinese factory. It's a matter of time. and soon. Actually there is another team, which included 3 guy, are trying to hack the GW since 2 weeks ago. Just wait the GW 2.0 release.

Just like all clones, they pretend to understand the product, when really they prob dont know shit, apart from knowing the factory they used to clone the device, they must be awesome
cue the broken english comments, direct translation basically from english to broken english from gateway site

These guys are obviously copying gateway's product but it's to early to say they don't know shiet. Can you go out reverse engineer the gateway and secure deals to start the manufacturing process? Nuh uh. It takes brains and determination to do that. Also this is a good thing for us cause competition in the 3ds flashcart market= lower prices for us.

One can hope, $60 would be a good price for it :P
I don't see the price going down that much, if at all. I'm guessing this new clone, assuming it ever surfaces, will have Gateway 1.0's functionality. Anyone who pays any attention would know that Gateway has been doing wonders with their flashcart, and aside from the whole "5.x will work" near the beginning of this whole episode, they have yet to disappoint. Now, if an actually competent company got together and made a flashcart with 5.x+ compatibility to suit users like the dude above me, then yes, I imagine a price drop will be in effect (assuming Gateway can't reverse engineer it).
