Ok thanks. Have found a very good site for cia files.all worked so far and easy to do.
I have modded one 3ds and have another one to do. Can I copy the sd card or do I have to do it all over again?

You have to repeat the whole Frogminer process for the other 3DS and install any CIAs again. The folder
SD:/Nintendo 3DS/<32 hex-chars long ID0>
is tied to a special unit. Any other 3DS will ignore it and create a new folder inside “Nintendo 3DS”
